Best Rugby Experience
Attending the USA 7s and 15s pathway camps, and being able to be in that environment training under high level coaches and alongside high performance athletes, was truly an incredible experience. I learned a lot of great things that, once applied, will elevate my game and hopefully open a lot more doors.
Values
Rugby has taught me a lot in life including gratitude, discipline, accountability and grace. This sport has taught me to appreciate all of the opportunities, big or small, and to be grateful for the ones who got you there. It has taught me that the only way to get better at anything in life is through discipline and being consistent and driven. I have learned that accountability is the only way you can learn and grow, and once you take ownership of your role, you can do anything.
Another value rugby has taught me is grace. Grace for myself and knowing that I am not always going to be able to give 100 percent as mistakes are inevitable. What matters is what you do after and how you make up for it, as that ultimately defines the kind of player, and person, you are.
Mentors
My parents have had the biggest impact on my rugby career. They were my first introduction to the sport, coaching me and guiding me along the way. They have played a huge role in a lot of my growth, and providing resources and support so that I can achieve my goals. By helping me stay focused and grounded, they have helped get me through tough times and hard losses while also lifting me up and celebrating my successes.
The Role Rugby has
Rugby has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, and is a big part of my family's life. Both of my parents and all of my siblings have played at some point. Rugby has made me the person I am, and has provided me with a lot of great opportunities, from traveling the world and meeting new people, to learning some hard lessons that have gotten me to the point I am at today. I have learned a lot from this sport, and I hope to be able to continue doing what I love and be able to make an impact along the way.
